Privacy Policy

We take your privacy seriously. Please read the following to learn more about our Privacy Policy. Also, note that your use of www.oneseventeenmedia.com, reThinkIt! and ThinkingApp, along with disputes arising from it, is subject to this Privacy Policy as well as our Terms of Use.

OneSeventeen Media, PBC is bound by all state and federal laws governing the exchange, storage, destruction and dissemination of student data.

OneSeventeen Media, PBC Overview

OneSeventeen Media provides a suite of AI-powered, evidence-based mobile apps, ThinkingApp™ and reThinkIt! ™, that help both English and Spanish speaking PreK – 12th grade students better process difficult emotions, understand their own behaviors, and navigate those of others.

Designed specifically as a real-time “early detection system”, the apps alert educators, counselors, parents and/or authorities to a student’s potential escalating and/or damaging behaviors. The platform performs an “emotional digital triage™”, capturing potentially disruptive and/or harmful behavioral issues developing in a child’s mind. Through early intervention, a crisis may be avoided and educators can focus on maintaining a positive and effective instructional environment.

What This Privacy Policy Covers

This policy covers how OneSeventeen Media treats information that the reThinkIt! and ThinkingApp programs collect and receive, including information related to your past use of our products and services. This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that OneSeventeen Media does not own or control, or to people that OneSeventeen Media does not employ or pay.

Collection and Use of Student Personal Information

The reThinkIt! and ThinkingApp applications do not collect personally identifiable information about students. Because we are an early detection system, we collect student responses to questions which are used by the institutions that purchase and use and the reThinkIt! and ThinkingApp programs.

OneSeventeen Media may, from time to time, ask students to complete anonymous surveys. These surveys are used to better understand outcomes and to improve our product offerings to students. This anonymous data may be compiled and shared with the public for the purposes of communicating outcomes.

Children Under Thirteen

The ThinkingApp and reThinkIt! applications may be used to collect personally identifiable information for children under the age of thirteen, provided that the child’s parent(s) consent to the child using OneSeventeen Media products.

If you are a parent and you have questions regarding our data collection practices, please contact us via support@OneSeventeenMedia.com.
